Jill B.2024-12-22Verified We finally decided to redo our pool. It was old and had a beach entrance that attracted the birds. We didn't use it much because it was unappealing. We got several estimates to fill in the beach entrance, put in a new pebble linerand tile, and replace the ugly, faded, tri-color pool deck. A friend recommended We Do It Pools after they had their pool refreshed. Shane came out and gave us an estimate that included everything we wanted for a reasonable price. Shane and his crew were amazing! They showed up on time, cleaned up as they went, finished the pool on schedule (even a little early) and the pool looks fantastic! I highly recommend We Do It Pools! Gary M.2023-02-08Verified The concrete pool in my Scottsdale home was overdue for a rehab - pitted plaster and several small cracks leaking water. I solicited numerous bids but was put off by the amounts; one large company informed me they'd have to knock down part of my block fence to get heavy equipment to the backyard. I found Shane at We Do It Pools (on craigslist, I believe) and he gave me an estimate that was far less expensive than the other pool companies. He was licensed and insured, and did a great job, explaining how he was going to repair the cracks in the shell ( I spent a youthful summer working for a gunite pool contractor back East and already knew something about building these pools). Despite various upgrade options I could have selected I never got any upsell pressure. He was honest and forthright about what was necessary, optional and what could be done at a later date if I chose. Due to the age of my pool there were problems locating some replacement pop-up heads, which required a lot of back-and forth that I'm sure would have irritated reps from the larger companies that want to book the job and move on. Shane was patient and thorough, and was diligent with follow-up after the heavy work was completed. He checked up on it after the pool was filled. Most small to mid-size contractors use subs for the various stages of rehab - demo'ing out plaster & concrete, plastering the walls, etc., and Shane was no different. But they were all proficient and did good work. Because of the shell repair I waited 6 months to write the review to see if any problems (leaks, etc.) arose, and there have been none so far. Again, We Do It Pools did good work at about 2/3 the cost of the bigger companies. MFoster C.2019-04-10Verified My pool has sat empty 15 years ago when I purchased the home. Over time the plaster was deteriorating, cracking and really showed age. Shane removed the old plaster and installed new pebble sheen, ladder and kool decking. I am very pleased with the job, workmanship, scheduling and reasonable price. Highly recommended. Amy S.2018-03-19Verified Shane and team installed a new pump, vacuum line and pebble tec for us. Shane was easy to work with and patient with all of our questions. Good service and fair pricing. The pool looks great. (We had six different companies out to give us estimates. We are glad we chose Shane. He was competitively priced, not the cheapest, and the service met our expectations. Sean L.2017-07-28Verified Great company, Shane from We Do It Pools came over, quoted the install and exceeded my expectations with a fantastic pebbletec repair and bead blasting of the tile, both of which look brand new! Thank you for a great job! Sean L Julie S.2017-05-03Verified Shane at We Do It Pools in Tempe has been my poolman for over two years for both my own home and a rental home I have. My pool is always sparkling. He has also fixed my pop ups system, replaced a motor, and fixed cracking pebble tech. He is very savvy at figuring out how to keep costs down. Yay! I can always get in touch with him when I have a question and he responds quickly. I've been through so many pool services over the years. I finally found a good fit. Thanks Shane!
